This PAK Tip presents the "FFT ONLINE" functionality available
in the PAK CAPTURE application in the "Recording" mode.
1. SETTING OF THE MEASUREMENT CHANNELS
In the example, the tablet is connected via Wi-Fi to a MicroQ device. A tri-axis accelerometer and a microphone are configured, as well as a tacho channel.
We can refer to the PAK Tip of November 2020 to configure the channels* thanks to the "PAK capture configuration" functionality, as well as the "Task" system uploaded in the application, in addition to the Equipment Manager.
* from PAK 5.11 SR4 onwards
You can also configure the channels without the PAK software and without "Task", directly from the tablet.
In the “Bars” tab, we activate one by one the channels where our sensors are connected and we enter the information and configuration parameters manually or using the “Readout TEDS” function when the sensors use this technology (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet).
2. ONLINE FFT
The hardware is configured and ready to measure, we can now visualize the ONLINE FFT of the channels in the "Recording" tab:
- Arrangement of windows (number / position)
- Configuration Mode
- Choice of the frequency resolution of the Online FFT
- Scale management
This example had been done using the PAK CAPTURE 3.3 tablet application, which communicates with the PAK MKII G2 frontend using the PAK live technology via Wi-Fi.
The application version used here is 3.3.2 (107).
