MAXIMUM ONLINE WITH ARITHMETIC

When making a measurement (online), the statistical features of the Graphic Definition are blocked, as it is often necessary to have the whole signal measured before making any calculations.

However, thanks to the Arithmetic module, some calculations can be performed in real time to display one or more values depending only on the signal already acquired.

This is the case, for example, if we want to recover the maximum of the signal from 0 to time t.

1. SETTINGS

  • A measurement setup is set via the "PAK live" interface (also works in "PAK classic" mode):

⇒ One ICP microphone channel

⇒ One ICP accelerometer channel

⇒ One RPM channel

  • On both channels, a "Detector" calculation is performed:
  • We continue the setting with the "Graphic Definition":

“Detector" displays (lines 1/2/3/5) are declared, as well as "ARITHMETIC" calculations (4/6).

These calculations will display the maximum observed between the "Start Measurement" and the present time.

A formula is required for each measurement channel.

  • The variables and formulas are defined:

2. DISPLAY

A layout with different types of diagrams was prepared:

1 = 2D diagram of the real time "mic ref" Detector

2 = 2D diagram of the real time "accel resp” Detector

3 = 1D value bar of the real time "mic ref" Detector

4 = value bar 1D of the "accel resp" real time Detector

5 = LCD display of the last observed maximum "mic ref" Detector calculated by ARITHMETIC

6 = LCD display of the last observed maximum "accel resp" Detector calculated by ARITHMETIC

During the measurement, diagrams 4 and 6 will keep the last maximum calculated "Online" by ARITHMETIC:

In the value bar 1D and LCD display diagrams, limits can be added to the axes to shape the display:
