In development, production, and testing processes, the precise evaluation of sound emissions is becoming increasingly important. Many test setups are characterized by complex sound source distributions, disturbing background noise, or unfavorable room acoustics. Under these conditions, a standard-compliant, repeatable, yet flexible evaluation of sound power is technically challenging—especially when different standards (e.g., ISO 374x, DIN 45635) must be taken into account.
